Sialkot District


Sialkot City is situated in north east of Pakistani province Punjab at the edge of great mountains of Kashmir. It is very nearer to Jammu and 125 km North West of Lahore. Punjabis along with Kashmiris and Pashtuns immigrants constitutes the total population of Sialkot as 3000,000. Majority of the Pashtuns immigrants especially from Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan are contributing as the major workforce to Pakistani major industrial centre for its manufacture and export of surgical instruments, musical instruments, sports goods, leather goods, textile products etc. The International Airport, Limited (SIAL) and the Sialkot Dry Port are the significant elements that will play vital role in making boost in Pakistani economy.

A small industrial city being administrative unit having population up to 200,000 known for agriculture products, sports goods, for producing high quality rice, potatoes, wheat, sugar cane etc.

SAMBRIAL
Another administrative and industrial unit where Dry Port has been set up giving leverage to Pakistani economy by producing export quality products. 

Pasrur
Also an administrative unit where a famous tomb of a Jain Baba, Baba Dharma Dass is situated who is the ancestor of most Jains living in Pasrur.
