Sialkot Engineering University | Progress, Admisssions

One vital element among Sialkot Development Projects is the goal for establishing Sialkot University of Engineering Sciences & Technology which is another landmark towards progressive Sialkot Education. UET Sialkot is sited along Sialkot Lahore Motorway. Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology serves as the joint collaborator this project for Sialkot Engineering University. Admissions of UET Sialkot will open by end of 2008.

A construction technology park along Sialkot University of Engineering Sciences & Technology is also part of this project. The establishment of Sialkot Engineering University is a proof of the fact Pakistan Government has established a project with technologically advanced countries for developing new engineering universities in six cities of Pakistan. Technical support and issues like course contents specification, university management, and human resource development of UET Sialkot is on the behalf of Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology while the development of Sialkot Engineering University campus will be funded by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The laboratories of Sialkot University of Engineering Sciences & Technology will be built on specifications followed by Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology.
